Phantom’s eco tip: Recycle

Eco Tip #1: Recycling

This weeks’ eco tip is from WWF South Africa, who offer a bunch of practical ways for us to make a difference. One of which is to recycle as much of our household waste as possible, rather than just arbitrarily throwing everything away.

Recycling is one of the easiest ways to help save the planet, and WWF SA has made it even easier by offering a comprehensive list of what can and can’t be recycled, as well as a downloadable PDF of recycling initiatives across South Africa. For those of you who don’t live in sunny S.A., Google will no doubt be able to tell you where your nearest recycling drop-off point is.

You’ll be amazed to learn just how much of what lands up in your rubbish bin can actually be recycled. And best of all, you’ll feel good about yourself for making a difference.

Do you have any eco-solutions that have made a lasting difference in your life? Feel free to share them in the comments section below!
